Appearance Model (Mock Up) is used to study the appearance of developing products created by designers with a fine sensibility as to whether the appearance evokes majority of targeted people’s ideation, the products reflect intention of the designers and preference atmosphere of buyers and consumers or products are properly evaluated based on six senses. It can take any form of input from sketch data or rendering to entire engineering database assemblies.
Below is a summary of our appearance model process:
Inquiry:
Receive inquiry and take order with having any form of data (sketch, drawing, CMF, 2D and or 3D data).
Information analysis:
Analyze drawing/rendering data in CAD/CAM room and confirmed data files are applied to manufacturing process with our extensive experienced expert. In this process, comprehend designed exterior, state of material in 3D data, color, etc.. and check size, characteristics, texture, functionality, etc..
Material Selection:
Select materials considering nature of material, color, quality and all conditions to be matched with forecasting finish product. Unit Industry’s show-off Custom color match techniques(specific colors which are not in commercial market, combine pigment and paint and create special color client want) and steel plate printing skills(Unit Industry’s unique printing techniques that matches client’s request) can be applied as per client’s request.
Materials in use; ABS, PC, Acrylic, POM, Aluminum, Brass, Stainless steel, etc..
3D Modeling:
After material selection, take place through 3D modeling process which is very critical process that can simulate final appearance of finish product to be produced and input CAM data into CNC machine program in order to produce high quality prototypes.
CNC Machine Setting:
When complete CAD/CAM, 3D Modeling data are prepared to be fitted with manufacturing process, CNC machines are set up by highly skilled engineers.
Rough Cut:
Shaping process of blank part.
Detailed Machining:
Fine maching of part.
Measurement:
Measure and gauge its size which is precisely matched with 3D data.
Hand Work:
Sanding job for surface, adhesion, assembly, artistic fabrication, etc..
Post process:
Final manufacturing process including UV coating, Evaporation, Spray, Painting, Silkscreen Printing, etc..
Coating:
Custom color is made by color specialist considering corrosion effect, leather like texture, gloss, back light, anodizing, ncvm, etc..
Printing:
Involves printing company logo, brand image, names, characters, and all kinds of images and symbols.
Finish:
Complete all process and finished goods are delivered to client.
